As knowing the admission date is not enough for ews & dg  registration you also have to meets the eligibility criteria for admission under EWS& DG category for session 2020-21, but what is the eligibility criteria & age limit guidelines for ews admission 2020? EWS Nursery Admission Eligibility Criteria Delhi 2020

As there are 2 different category EWS & DG for admission in Nursery, KG & Class 1 and the eligibility criteria for both the categories are different which are shared accordingly.

Eligibility Criteria for EWS Category 

The EWS is mainly stands for Economically Weaker Section, if you are planning to apply under this scheme then you must have a income certificate which clearly state that your annual income is not more than rupees 1 lakh. Eligibility Criteria for DG Category 

The Disadvantage Group which is well abbreviated as DG for admission in schools of Delhi all those aspirants who belongs to SC/ST/OBC (Non creamy layer) and Children with special needs or differently abled child can apply under this scheme.

You have to provide a document evidence Certificate issued by Govt. Hospital Or Orphan and Transgender.
Now you have to decide for which category you have to apply either EWS or DG category. The another important thing you have to check the age limit guidelines for ews & dg nursery admission Delhi.

EWS & DG Age Limit Guidelines for Admission in School’s of Delhi

If you meet’s the above said category eligibility criteria the next is age limit guidelines for which is different for different class which is as follows.

Please remember the age limit guidelines for both the categories is same either you belongs to EWS or DG category.

  • For Pre-School or Nursery: the child should be between 3 to 5 years old on 31 March 2020
  • For Pre-Primary or KG: the child should be between 4 to 6 years old on 31 March 2020
  • For Class 1: the child should be between 5 to 7 years old on 31 March 2020

The scheme age limit guidelines and eligibility criteria only for those applicants who belongs to Delhi only if you are living outside Delhi then you can’t apply under this scheme.
